Each year, Montréal en Lumière selects a grand featured city and this year, Lyon is the chosen one.
With its 4200 restaurants and 21 starred chefs, Lyon is considered to be the French capital of gastronomy. Amongst the food scene celebrities, we find Paul Bocuse, named « chef of the century » by Gault & Millau, who will be honoured at events such as ITHQ welcomes Institut Paul Bocuse.
Throughout the festival, we will discover Lyon’s specialities like bouchon lyonnais, andouillette, mâchon or saladier lyonnais. You will find all Lyon’s fine dining activities on Montréal en Lumière website.

Lyon’s Fête des lumières greatly inspired the concept of Montréal en Lumière.
Paul Bocuse was the first honorary president of the festival.
For this edition, his son Jérome Bocuse will be the honorary co-president with Christophe Muller.
Chefs from DELICE network, Good Food Cities WordlWide, created in Lyon, will also participate in this edition of Montréal en Lumière. I can’t wait to taste the results of the pairings with our local chefs!
